Sandeep Goel takes over the reins of Rotary Club of Faridabad NIT

The induction event of the new team of Rotary Club of Faridabad NIT for the Rotary Year 2013-14 was organised at Hotel Park Plaza in Faridabad. Around 200 guests including many Past District Governors, Assistant Governors, Presidents and Secretaries from various clubs from the Rotary International District 3010 took part in the ceremony.

Chief Guest for the evening, District Governor, Rotarian Vinod Bansal, along with Guest of Honours, Rotarian Sanjay Khanna DGE 2014-15 and Rotarian Ramesh Aggarwal IPDG 2102-13 along with the new president Rotarian Sandeep Goel, addressed the gathering. The new team includes Rotarian Sunil Mangla, Secretary, Rotarian Anil Maggu, Treasure besides, Rotarians Jagbir Singh Vice President, Sunil Sachdeva, Joint secretary and Jeetender Goel as Sgt-at–Arms for Rotary Year 2013-14.

Taking the responsibilities as the new president, Goel said: “I am really delighted because I now have a chance to give back something to the society. Together, we will try to achieve more and I am confident that my team will deliver - they are the ones who will make the impossible, possible".

On the occasion the news bulletin of the club 'AAINA' was also unveiled. New team was installed by District Governor, Rotarian Vinod Bansal. He urged before all the members to extend teamwork. Appreciating the activities of Rotary Club of Faridabad NIT, the offcial added: “I would like to seize the opportunity to congratulate the Rotary club of Faridabad NIT for the role they have taken up for betterment of society. I congratulate the incoming President Rotarian sandeep and board members on assuming their new assignment”.

The club has already started the year with a bang by undertaking projects in a short span of time, like relief material to Uttrakhand flood victims, Blood donation drive, a tree plantation and granting aids to needy students of Sakhi Sang.
